What this site processes

When you submit an Instagram URL, the server processes that URL to locate media exposed by the publicly accessible page. Standard web-server logs may also contain technical information such as IP address, browser details, request time and requested path.

Media storage

This package is designed to stream remote media to your browser and does not intentionally save downloaded photos or videos permanently on the website. Short-lived rate-limit files are stored using a one-way hash of the requesting IP address.

Third-party services

Submitting an Instagram URL causes the server to make a request to Instagram and, when you download an item, to the relevant Instagram/Meta media delivery host. Those services operate under their own privacy policies.

Cookies

A first-party session cookie is used for request security (CSRF protection). The theme preference is stored locally in your browser. This package does not include advertising or analytics by default.
